ST PETERS IVER FC MINUTES OF CLUB MEETING – MONDAY 01/02/10
Below are the minutes of the meeting:	Action
·  Persons o Present – Nick Jones, Richard Broad, Alan Mackay, David Hunt, Mathew Lopacki, Simon Edwards, David Orr, Mark James.   o Apologies  -  Brian Griffiths,  Martin Meacock,  Paul Simmonds,  Kevin Elmer,  John Ashton.
· Managers updates o All age groups going reasonably well. Results have been fair. o Under 6s going well. They have a big group and lots of support. o Under 8s have a big group of between 30-35 children. They have made an excellent team effort. o Under 10s have about 26 children. They have made a first class effort. Results have been good. They have plenty of help. o Under 12s are still struggling, but they are improving. They are a very young group with quite small numbers. o Under 14s are having mixed results. Group of about 20 children. 3 or 4 helpers so training can carry on for those children who are not selected for the team squad. o Under 16s have had very few fixtures because of the bad weather. Still going well though. o Men’s team have a full squad and are doing well. Very good team spirit.
· Finance update & Donations o Finances are in good shape. Donations are well up on last season. o About £700 Gift Aid to come. o Coffee bar takings still good, although sessions have been lost due to the recent bad weather. o The club is about £2000 in surplus.	None
· Coaches/helpers CRB checks and references o Most coaches and helpers have their CRB checks. o The FA is very slow in organising courses.	Continue with CRB checks for new helpers when new CWO has completed training programme
· Half Term Saturdays (in Nick’s absence) o Simon Edwards and David Orr to be in charge of the football. They will check the state of the ground to see if it is fit to play & post on the website. o Debbie Orr to run the coffee bar with help from Richard, Serena and her sister. ·  End Of Season Events – Presentations o Friday 30^th April.  Lads, Mums and Dads mixed football evening. o Friday May 7^th.     Trophy presentation evening for U6s, U8s and U10s. o Friday May 14^th.     Trophy presentation evening for U12s, U14s and U16s.	Simon Edwards to book RPSC
· Dates of other Social Events o Friday 19^th         St Peter’s can join in with Langley Hornets quiz. o       Curry Evening.         Curry Paradise.    Friday 21st May 8pm.	Simon Edwards to organise
· Next meeting dates o    Monday 26^th April. o    AGM on Wednesday 9^th June. .	Simon Edwards to book RPSC
· Any Other Business o  Easter Break.  No training on Easter Saturday (3^rd April). o  Chiltern Church Junior league does not update its website often enough for some of the teams – need to raise at league meeting o  Managers to re-arrange postponed fixtures ASAP due to pitch congestion. o   Season will finish at end of April due to the start of the cricket season.      .
