ST PETERS IVER FC MINUTES OF CLUB MEETING – WEDNESDAY 17/06/09
Below are the minutes of the meeting:	Action
· Kit/Equipment for next season o Please email Nick Jones with all requests for Training/Match Balls, Bags etc as soon as possible (before end of June).	All Managers
· Next season (2009/10) o Appear to be well covered at most age groups, although U6/U8 may need some additional helpers. New volunteers are always welcome. o Need to ensure a full list of helpers is maintained & managers to inform Nick Jones at start of season & notify any changes. o The coffee bar still has only a single ‘team’ which may be a problem. · Registration day o Due to Bank holiday weekend this is planned to be 5^th September 2009, at RPSC (subject to final confirmation when league fixture list is known). 1^st training session will be 12^th September. o Registration times - U6/U8/U10 – 9.30 to 10.30, U12/U14/U16 10.45 to 11.45. o Parent’s invitation letter to be sent out early August. o Updated welcome pack to be available on website before letters go out. o U12 and above will use a waiting list for all new players (not registered last season) o All kit to be brought to registration day for transfer to new managers (if manager changing team)	Nick Jones Nick Jones All Managers
· Social Events (planning) o Family Quiz To be planned for October/November o Format to be family oriented o Need to decide date & book RPSC o Curry Night planned for a Friday night in December. Will require deposits this time due to high level of ‘no shows’ at end of season event. o Race night Men’s team may be organising a race night pre season. · Next meeting date o 8pm 19^th October 2009 at RPSC
· Any Other Business o Sign in sheets – after discussion it was agreed it was appropriate to start this for next season. Managers to ensure compliance for each age group. A note will be included in the invitation letter and the registration form will be amended appropriately. o Goalkeeper Coaching – Richard Embleton has offered to take groups for specialist coaching. o Early season training – If managers wish to use RPSC for midweek/weekend training before the start of the season please liaise with Simon Edwards to confirm availability. Other venues may be used as required. o 1^st aid kits – Owners need to check use by dates for kit contents and send list of any required items to Nick Jones o Special Church Service –There will be a service on 6^th September to welcome Nick Jones	Nick Jones All Managers All Managers
· Special Notes o The valuable role that Brian Griffiths undertakes on behalf of the club was noted and appreciated. o The long standing contribution of John and Sharon Plaskett was marked by presentations at each of the end of season events, and their departure after so many years was noted with sadness.
