MINUTES OF CLUB AGM – WEDNESDAY 18/06/08

 

  

Below are the minutes of the meeting:

 

Action

·         Finance update & Donations

  • There was a small surplus for both Junior and Senior sections due to receipt of some late sponsorship and the presentation evenings.
  • It is proposed to request a minimum donation of for next season, with consideration being given to formal charges if this does not provide enough income. Need to add a paragraph to the registration letter explaining the change.

·         Kit Requirements

  • Managers requests for new equipment were noted by John Plaskett.
  • Team managers to be responsible for sourcing their own kit if required. (Note that U8 should be receiving kit from Action Replay Sports and U16 may also have a sponsor)
  • Due to number of managers changing teams, please pass on all kit as appropriate.
  • All kit to be brought to registration day for Inventory to be made.
  • At the start of next season all 1st aid kits must be checked for out of date items. Managers to liaise with Sharon Plaskett.

·         Next Season

  • Generally in good shape with sufficient helpers at all levels.

 

 

·         Registration Day

  • Registration Day (no training) is planned for Saturday 30th August.
  • U6/U8/U10 at 9.30
  • U12/U14/U16 at 10.45.
  • Club Admin – Nick J to speak to Jennie Davies re continuing as database administrator. (Post meeting note – Jennie is happy to continue & will send the latest list to John P)

  • Planned to have the following events next season (dates to be confirmed):
  • Quiz Evening (Oct/Nov) – David Hunt to be quizmaster
  • Football Fantasia (probably December)
  • Dads vs Lads (April).
  • 2xPresentation evenings.
  • 2x Curry Nights

  • Monday 13th October 2008 at 8pm. Venue to be confirmed

 

 

·         Any Other Business

  • Child Welfare Officer – John Plaskett is attending a course in June.
  • CRB Checks – Once the welfare Officer is in place new CRB checks are required for all helpers.
  • Kit Sponsorship – Club is happy to have sponsored kit, provided the sponsor is not considered inappropriate.
