ST PETERS IVER FC MINUTES OF CLUB MEETING – MONDAY 19/10/09
Below are the minutes of the meeting:	Action
·  Persons o Present – Nick Jones, Richard Broad, Alan Mackay, David Hunt, Mathew Lopacki, Simon Edwards, David Orr. o Apologies  -  Brian Griffiths,  Martin Meacock,  Paul Simmonds,  Greg Hall,  Mark James.
· Managers updates o All age groups going reasonably well. Results have been fair. o Under 8s have a big group of between 30-35 children. o Under 10s going well until this Saturday when the team was withdrawn at half time due to safety concerns for the children. Could be a problem from the league with this. o Under 12s struggling because of a very young group and quite small numbers. o Under 16s have made a fair start to the season. o Mens team have a full squad and are doing OK.	Nick Jones to speak to secretary of opposition team.
· Finance update & Donations o Donations are approx £3,600.  Profit from sales of training kit were approx £100.  o Coffee bar takings very good and have been sold out on a couple of times.	None
· Coaches/helpers CRB checks and references o Most coaches and helpers have their CRB checks. The only ones who have not are new helpers who have started in the last few weeks.	Continue with CRB checks for new helpers when new CWO has completed training programme
· Review of signing in/out procedure o Going OK for the groups that are using it. Not used at U14 and U16 levels.  In the youngest age groups there is a problem with late arrivals and at the end with children scattering before they have been signed out.	Those age groups that use it to continue with it.
· Referees o There is one qualified ref for the younger age groups. It costs £22 for a ref for eleven a side games.	Try to find more qualified refs.
· Quiz Night o Friday October 30^th.  General questions comprising 9 rounds of 10 questions. o Raffle prizes.	Simon Edwards/ Mark James and coffee bar people to hand out flyers.
· Dates of other Social Events o    Football Fantasia.    Sunday 29^th November.   3pm-5pm. o    Curry Evening.         Curry Paradise.    Friday 11^th December. 8pm.	Simon Edwards to organise
· Next meeting dates o    Monday 18^th January o    Monday 26^th April. o    AGM on Wednesday 9^th June. .	Simon Edwards to book RPSC
· Any Other Business o No break for half term o Christmas Break.  No Training on Sat. December 26^th and Sat. January 2^nd. o  The last responsible person to leave football training check that changing rooms         and toilets are clean. o We have been donated a selection of kit/equipment. Managers to let Nick Jones know if they can use any of it. o  Procedure when games and training sessions are cancelled due to bad weather.	Nick Jones to circulate list Information to be placed on web site, preferably on Friday night.
