MINUTES OF CLUB MEETING – WEDNEDAY 09/06/10

 

Below are the minutes of the meeting:

·         Richings Park Sports Club – season 2011/11

o     Renewal invitation letter for 2010/11 has not yet been received.

o     Due to meet people from the club to discuss requirements. (post meeting note this was now scheduled for Saturday 12th June at 10.30am and a positive outcome was achieved).

 

 

 

 

Nick Jones

·         Kit & Equipment Requirements

o     There are funds available to purchase whatever is required for next season. Team managers to identify requirements as soon as possible.

o     U8 team require a kitbag

o     New U10 team will use the existing Green/Red striped shirts but require new sorts & socks and a Goalkeeper kit.

·            Team Names for U10

o     After some discussion David Hunts team to be called ‘St peters Iver Crusuaders’

o     Need to confirm name for Alan Mackays team as need to inform the league

 

 

 

Alan Mackay to let Nick Jones know by end of June

·           Registration Day

o     Confirmed as 4th September (this is the final week of cricket at RPSC)

o     Any managers wishing to undertake pre season training will need to find an available ground.

 

 

·          Social Events

o     Good discussion about possible events that could be run next season, but does need a few more volunteers to help Simon/Mark organise.

o     Suggestions included Family fun afternoon with bouncy castles, other early evening events (given the age profile of the children in the club), extended Christmas fun day.

o     Limiting factors are daylight, other users of the outdoor facilities (other football etc).

o     Generally felt that the quiz night was not worth repeating due to low turnout & high workload for quizmaster

 

 

·          Next meeting date

o      Monday 11th October

 

 

·          Any Other Business

o         The training kit offer for next season will be hoodies & Beanies (hats). Objective is to send the order forms out with the registration invitation letter so order can be made mid September. Need to confirm final pricing etc. as soon as possible.
