·         Thoughts for Next season

o        Although it is early we need to start thinking about next season. There is no pressure on anyone to do anything but it would help planning (and hopefully avoid some of the quick decisions that had to be made last season) if managers could sound out helpers over the next few weeks.

o        Please email John P with any thoughts/preferences etc.

o        The overall objective is to announce the likely league teams to be run next season at the presentation evenings.

o        The current season constraint on space will remain.

·         Social Events

o        27th April Adults Vs Children matches

·         Mums to play U8 & U10

·         Dads/Coaches to play U12/U14/U16 (probably 30 mins each)

o        End of season Curry night arranged for 11th May.

·         Next meeting date

o        Wednesday 18th April 2007

·         Any Other Business

o        Update from the league meeting:

·         Team managers need to ensure the league have their email address as fixture changes are notified this way.

·         The league requested to be able to schedule matches during half-term to ease congestion. OK for U14/16 but need to check U12.

·         Can managers please try to rearrange any postponed fixtures with their opposite number. If not possible please let John P know.

·         Haslemere 6’s (26th May) This year there is a limit of 16 teams per age group It is proposed to enter 2 teams per age group with a caveat to withdraw 1 if other teams are prevented from entering.

o                    AGM – As the season is finishing earlier it was proposed to bring forward the AGM. Wednesday 20th June is a possible date.

o                    Start time for training – the 9am start for older age groups was driven from the desire to finish training on pitches prior to matches. As training is not allowed on pitches, start time is up to each manager.

o                    It would be good to have reciprocal website links between St Peters and the football club site.

o                    Maps showing directions to A&E departments (Wexham and/or Hillingdon) should be held at the coffee bar.

o                    Referees – we may need to start paying for referees from next season unless there is anyone who would like to become one.
