Team managers update
- Still
running well this season, with great enthusiasm form all age groups
despite some adverse results.
- Due to
the cancellations we need to keep an eye on fixture build up &
possible congestion.

- The
expectation is to break even this year.
- The next
newsletter could remind parents about donations.

Kit/Equipment Requirements
- U16 need
a new pump.
- Matchballs
required for U12 (size 4).

Fixture Congestion
- Managers
have flexibility to rearrange any postponed matches for free dates
(offer to play away if no pitch at RPSC)
- Managers
are reminded of the Saturday 6.30pm deadline for submitting results.
This should include referee marks & sporting marks (care required as
1 is out of 10 & 1 is out of 100!)
- If
matches are postponed, a form must be completed & sent in.

Social Events
- Dads Vs
Lads to be Friday 25th April 2008. All age groups to be
involved. (subject to any critical league games)
- Presentation
evenings arranged for Friday 2nd May (U6/U8/U10) & 16th
May (U12/U14/U16).
- Mens
curry night arranged for Friday 9th May.

Thoughts for next season
- Although
it seems a long way away, some thought needs to be given to next season.
- Please
email John Plaskett with any preferences or offers for next year

- Monday 21st April 2008 at 8pm. Note that the venue will again be Kings Church

Any Other Business
- Website
updates – Request to add date to the team pages to ensure clarity of
information. Need to ask Paul Johnson
- Haslemere
6’s – To be held 24th May. 9.30am for U8/U12/U14. 2pm for U10/U16. 2 Teams to be entered for each age group.
- Referees
– As David Orr is retiring we need new referees for next season. Paul
Simmonds may know someone (to be invited down this season to ‘try out’.
- Training
Dates – There will be no training on Easter weekend (22 March), but
we will carry on through the school holidays. End of training season to
be confirmed.
